Cotton Bobbinet/0.5m

A soft and lightweight yet strong and sturdy fabric, fantastic for summer corsets or internal garment foundations. Best used as two layers cut perpendicular (cut one layer on the grain, and the second layer 90 degrees off-grain). Also known as Swiss tulle, bobbinet has been popular with couture houses since Diors' 'New Look' in the the 1950s.
 
The corset in the photos is made from a combination of double layered bobbinet and rosebud coutil.
 
100% cotton. Will shrink if washed, so pre-wash or dryclean only.
 
130cm width, sold in 0.5m increments.
If you order more than one, your fabric will be cut in one continuous piece.
